What is TACA H20?

TEAM Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) Hood River 2 Ogden (H2O) is a group of individuals dedicated to raising awareness for autism and $25,000 for Talk About Curing Autism (TACA). Your proceeds will go directly to TACA and help enable them to move an education program to the state of Oregon. TACA provides information, support and resources to families affected by autism. To promote this effort, Team TACA H2O bicycled 850 miles from Hood River, Oregon to Ogden, Utah July 7 - July 14, 2010. Take a look at the photos and stories from this trip in our blog archive. Team member Scott Rowley will also be running in the Portland Marathon this year on 10-10-10 to benefit TACA. Stories will be posted in during the course of his training over the next month.

Welcome to the 2010 Inaugural Hood River 2 Ogden




On July 8, 2010 four unique individuals will begin a journey of a life time. Sammy Carlson, Scott Rowley, Drew Bryant, Brian Dalrymple and Craig Gruenewald will bicycle over 1000 miles from there hometown of Hood River, Oregon to Ogden, Utah in an effort to raise awareness and funds for Talk About Curing Autism.

Please consider supporting Talk About Curing Autism's inaugural Hood river 2 Ogden (H2O) bike ride as an event sponsor or by donating through our silent auction. Auction items will be auctioned off at Team H2O's welcome home party on August 14. The location is yet to be decided! A sponsorship package with levels and benefits can be sent to you if your a business with interest in supporting our cause.

As you may know, autism is a brain and body disorder and contrary to popular belief it is not rare. If you do not know someone with autism or an autism spectrum disorder it is likely that you soon will.
  • One in every 91 children are diagnosed with autism or an autism spectrum disorder
  • More than 2 million people in the United States are affected by autism
  • Every 18 minutes a child is diagnosed with autism or an autism spectrum disorder
  • Autism is the fastest growing disorder in our country, yet receives much less government funding than other diseases
Autism is treatable! Your help is changing lives for childeren with autism and there families.
