What is TACA H20?

TEAM Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) Hood River 2 Ogden (H2O) is a group of individuals dedicated to raising awareness for autism and $25,000 for Talk About Curing Autism (TACA). It proved that we had the ability to act professionally in a variety of different situations and we can handle the kinds of things happening to other people everyday. Trip Recap
When Sammy Carlson contacted me 7 months ago about creating a bike ride fundraiser event to promote Talk About Curing Autism I was all ears.

"Hey Scott! I have this idea for a bike ride to support Talk About Curing Autism (TACA.) This will without a doubt be the hardest goal either of us has had to prepare for mentally and physically, but I am willing to do it.

Seven months later Team TACA H2O gazes back at what we have attained. All the stories, photographs and experiences are truly irreplaceable, and would have never been made possible without the help from a group of very special individuals at Talk About Curing Autism and around our communities.

The inaugural Hood River to Ogden (H2O) event was truly the trip of a lifetime made possible by the following individuals -

Special thanks to -

Lisa, Violette and Roxanne from Talk About Curing Autism (TACA)
Jenny Naftulin from Salomon Sports
Bess Ferrin from Amer Sports
Kevin Kruse from Scott USA
Kurt from Discover Bicycles
Outer Rim Bicycles
Greg Strokes from Oakley
Mike Fitzpatrick from Sun Valley Resorts
John and Michelle Rowley for providing us with a reliable source of support transportation
Steve and Bev Pongracz for their generous donation to TACA

If you already donated to this effort, "THANKS" from all of us and the families your contribution will touch.

No amount is too small, and you can still donate to TACA and their support of families effected by autism through the TACA H2O website. Look for the 'First Giving" box at the top of the web page and click "Donate." Our team worked hard to make this ride happen. We will keep working to raise funds to help the families in our communities. If you believe in helping your neighbors or celebrating young people making a real effort on behalf of the communities we live in, please take a moment to donate.

We would also like to thank everyone following/supporting our adventure. If you read this blog post you are one of those unique individuals. If you are interested in supporting TACA through any of our future events please contact Scott Rowley @ scott.rowleys@gmail.com or http://www.facebook.com/ScottRowleys#.

Have a positive day!

Sincerely,

Team TACA H2O (Sammy Carlson, Scott Rowley, Brian Dalrymple, Drew Bryant and Craig Gruenewald)
